in sura 4:03 he said marry 4 women if you can treat them equaly. but he himself preferred aisha and mary over others, that was the reason they rebelled against him. he even told his daughter, fatima, who was advocating on behalf of other wives for equal treatmen, why do you not love what rasul allah loves? 1- he accepted that he loved aisha more than others. 2-he called himself "rasul allah", instead calling "your dad" to fatima. in the book "understanding muhammad", ali sina explained it.

It'd be much better if Rashid critics would refer those of us who've read him to journalists who have an other points of views. I have just recently started following the program, "Conversations with History" on youtube and I find it good. As for Ahmed Rashid, he is rated as the 51st most influential thinker of 2009 as judged by Foreign Policy magazine. There are few people in Pakistan who can take such line in public. I never knew that he lived in my city Lahore, and had been an active guerilla fighter back in 70's in the Baluchistan region.

if it is honest let me explain you Rashid Khan is a great artist I do not have to cetrify him, the whole world knows him. For any one to do public performance in Indian classical music he /she has to learn and practice (riaz) for 14 years . all vocalist have their own style To really understand the music please attend differrent artist's programmes . If you are Indian and have attended such concerts you will never have such comments. Art is long and our life is very short my friend.
